The XVII. World Congress of Sociology, taking place in Sweden, July 2010, provides a platform for the international community of environmental sociologists as well.

A member of our group, Ingmar Lippert, has been invited to join Session 15 entitled "Culture/Climate Change: Migration, Adaptation and Re-Settlement in an Age of Change" to give a talk on Getting it Right? Control, Climate and the Corporate Construction of Carbon Emissions [1].
